Multi-Animator Projects (also known as MAPs) are projects hosted on YouTube! The host will cut up a song, sometimes have a script for artists to follow along, and then assign parts that usually range from 5-15 seconds long. Each assigned part will be completely by a different artist and then the whole project is stitched together and uploaded once complete. MAPs can range from original character projects (where each shot is entirely its own story) to scripted MAPs that follow along book, movie, podcast, or TV show plots with canon characters. They're a great way to practice drawing, animating, and editing as well as meet other people with similar interests, and I've been taking part in these projects since 2016!
Below is a video with a few examples of the MAP parts I've done more recently! I find them fun to do in my free time, and it's been a great way to practice improving my editing.
